6 Fashion Hacks Every Girl Should Know

Oh how we women wish that our lives could get a bit simpler! Fortunately, there are clothing hacks that can make the life of a fashion enthusiast bearable. Below is a list of clothing tricks we've found in the world wide web that can make life a whole lot easier. Check them out.

No iron?
Don't worry. Use your blow dryer. Dampen your dress or shirt by sprinkling some water and use a blow dryer to remove the creases. Use a hair straightener to neaten out the collar of your shirts in the most efficient manner, Move the dryer quickly, holding it a few inches away from the fabric.

Keep the Shape of Your Tall Boots
If you have owned a pair of tall boots you know that the shaft of the boot loses its shape. To keep in proper shape, just roll up old magazines and slide them into the boots to keep them upright. Stuffing the boots with magazines or newspapers has the same effect as you wearing them and will prevent them from crumpling around the ankles of the boots.

Remove Deodorant stains
Baby wipes are handy for so many things, and they also remove white deodorant marks. If you don't have them, and you find those terrible marks on your clothes, gently rub the stained area with a bit of cloth from the same garment. This will remove the mark.

Avoid Blisters From New Flats
To avoid blisters, wear thick socks and put on your flats. Grab a blow dryer and aim it at the tight areas of your shoes for a couple minutes. While they cool down, make sure to keep your socks and flats on. Try the shoes on once they’re cool, and if they’re still not loose enough, repeat the process again.

Keep your clothes fresh
Once you've ironed your clothes, wait five minutes before putting on your outfit. This simple tactic will keep your clothes wrinkle-free throughout the day.

Stop Runs on your Tights
This is the trick I learned from school. When you find that there is a small run in your tights, dab some clear nail polish over it will prevent it from stretching into a rip. It essentially works as glue, solidifying the surrounding area and keeping the material from stretching even more.

Save Your Old Jewellery
Paint cheap jewelry with clear nail polish to prevent the finish from tarnishing. Apply a clear coat to your new faux gold and silver accessories right before you wear them to protect the finish from fading, tarnishing, and chipping.

Remove Sweat Stains
Spray sweat stains with lemon juice before you wash them. You just need to mix equal parts of lemon juice and water, and rub it on the affected area to clean the stain. Table salt, too, can be used to scrub away the stain. Do not use chlorine bleach to remove sweat stains as it is likely to react with the proteins in the sweat and eventually, darken the stains.

Fix a Stuck Zipper
If you have a stuck zipper on your favorite clothing,  just grab petroleum jelly, and dab some of it on your zipper. Remember to use it sparingly. I once covered my entire zipper in Vaseline. By the end of the day, a lot of weird stuff got clung on to it. Any excess and you’re just waiting for random stuff to stick to your zipper and we all know that that’s not a good look on anyone.

Remove the smell from your sneakers
After spending hours in your sneakers and vigorous workout sessions, they can start smelling. Get some dry tea bags and stuff it into the shoe overnight.
